Whatever you do to the least of these you do to me… St. Patrick’s is involved in outreach ministries on the international, national, state and local levels. The Outreach Committee seeks to identify and address concerns, including basic human needs, social justice and evangelism. An outreach focus is offered each month based on input from our parishioners as to the organizations they feel strongly about supporting. Currently, St. Patrick’s supports a variety of organizations, including Broken Arrow Neighbors, Turn Tulsa Pink, Blue Star Mothers, Domestic Violence Intervention Services, New Hope, Hospice of Green Country, Broken Arrow Animal Shelter, Episcopal Relief and Development and others. Committee members meet each year to determine which projects will be supported and decides on the distribution of St. Patrick’s budgeted outreach monies. For more information on the Outreach Committee, contact Ivan and Paula Alvarez at alvarezi@aol.com or Pjadair@aol.com.

Love Thy Neighbor

ltn_fb_profileLove Thy Neighbor is a breakfast feeding ministry that takes place at our church.  LTN is designed to help those who are not homeless or even jobless but who may need a helping hand through the provision of a hot breakfast and sack lunch.  Breakfast is served every day (except for some designated holidays) from 6:30 until 7:15 a.m. to adults and children. This is our parish’s way of supporting our fellow neighbors during these difficult economic times.

For information on volunteer opportunities, contact Kurt Davis at tulsad@gmail.com .
