Tips for a Successful Nursery Visit!

      • Ask about snacks – do you bring or do they supply.   Tell them about any allergies your child may have.
      • Due to the possibility of severe allergic reactions to other children, childcare workers should not give medicine to your child.
      • If you are breastfeeding, find the location set aside for your and your child so you are quiet and comfortable.
      • Once you give your child to the childcare worker, step quietly out of the area. Your child might cry or might not but seeing you peeking around the corner will make the child anxious and more prone to crying.  We do have a window in the parish hall where you can look in and see your child without being observed!
      • You should bring :

A diaper bag Diapers and wipes A separate change of clothes Prepared Bottle and/or Sippy Cup Child’s favorite toy or blanket Bib Make sure your child’s name is on the diaper bag and bottle/cup.

If you have any concerns about your nursery, talk to the staff. They are there to serve you and your child!
